Look Into My Eyes ...

Hey everyone!

Hope you all had a great long weekend!

On Saturday, my best friend and I were sitting in a pub having dinner. This man walked over to our table, wrapped his hand around my upper arm and said "I have a strange question for you."

Uh Oh ... My eyes flashed across the table to my friend, then around the room, scoping out the nearest Security Dude.

I'm not unaccustomed to having men approach me in a pub. However, usually it's to ask for a dance, not to play 20 questions :-)

He asked "Were you ever an instructor at the Xxxx Xxxxx Xxxxxx?"

I said "No, I was a student there a long time ago." Wondering if that was enough of an answer to get his hand off my arm.

Nope, not good enough I guess.

He then asked, "You worked in the lab though didn't you?"

I flashed back almost 15 years and answered "Yes, I did work in the lab for a short time after I graduated ..."

He said "I KNEW IT! I knew you worked in the lab. It was back in 1994. I remembered you from your eyes. I remembered those eyes!"

OK! Is that enough to get your hand off my arm now?!?!?!?

Yup, apparently it was.

He simply walked away then and said "Thanks. I just needed to make sure I wasn't going crazy! I knew I remembered those eyes!"

Well ... I still have no idea who he was, so it's possible his sanity is still up for debate, but I'm glad I could put a little piece of 1994 into perspective for him ;-) Wow, 15 years later someone recognizes my eyes, go figure LOL.

Now if only I could have gotten the tall, dark haired 'broody' one to come on over and look into these eyes ....

They're all shiny cause it was halloween. My attempt at the scary look.

What can I say, I didn't have many 'eye shots' to choose from.
I don't take alot of eye close ups.

Till the next adventure all, time to pick up potatoes and then my kids ... a
nd knowing me, I'll find an adventure in picking up the potatoes LOL!

Later!

K

LOL, it was an uneventful potatoe picking trip :-) A welcomed change in my normally over-eventful life ;-)
